"Small Batch" Tangent Scale Models 1917-Design 10,000 gallon tank car painted for the legendary freelance railroad Virginian and Ohio!
Road Number Variant: V&O 408 - "When Empty Return to V&O West Carrollton, Ohio" Re-Stencil
We are delighted to be able to offer this very unique Virginian and Ohio company service tank car! Both Allan McClelland and Brad McClelland were on the design team for this project.
This car is a "Must Have" for the V&O fan, modeler, and collector. This series speaks to the territory served by the Appalachian Lines member railroad as each road number in this offering has a unique V&O shop stencil.
V&O 408 has a 3-20 BLT Date, a 7-62 WC Repaint Date, and is re-stenciled for return to the V&O shop at West Carrollton, Ohio.
As a company service waste oil tank car, once loaded at a V&O shop facility it could be way-billed to any oil recycling facility in the nation. Therefore these company service cars would not be captive to V&O Home Rails!
