A Limited Edition Tangent Scale Models PS-4427 covered hopper car painted for freelance railroad Neosho Valley Lines!  Road Number Variant: NVL 150042.

The freelance Neosho Valley Lines is a very-cool Alco-powered railroad belonging to Brad Bourbina.  The name "Neosho Valley Lines" was originally used for the freelance model railroad of the Cherry Valley Model Railroad Club.  When the club switched to a prototype interest, Mr. Bourbina adopted the name for his own freelance operation.

In 1956 the Missouri Pacific emerged from receivership and chose to divest itself of some smaller routes, including Larned east to Pittsburg, then Cornell and Nevada, MO, as well as south from Rich Hill to Joplin, MO. The owner, being from the Southeast Kansas area, named the road after the river he crossed on his daily commute and the river valley the highway he traveled traversed, and the Neosho Valley Railway was born!

This model is manufactured by Tangent Scale Models and is an exclusive freelance paint scheme for Home Shops.  The Tangent PS-4427 High-Side covered hopper is is a gorgeous model that comes with CNC-Machined 36" wheels, metal roof walks and end cross walks, Kadee metal couplers, correct weight, rotating bearing caps, and crisp paint detail.
