The Yankeetown Dock Corporation (YDC) was a coal hauling railroad in southern Indiana that operated from the 1960's to the 2000's. In the proto-freelance world the modern YDC has evolved to include an expanded customer base and route miles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eWith their expanding customer base, the modern YDC turned to the Powder River Basin to satisfy the needed volume. The Autoflood III coal hopper helped supplement the fleet of aging hoppers and sustain reliable service stretching across long distances to reach customers along the Ohio River.
